  The premises, alongside the ancient castle that gives the name to the small city of Castellammare del Golfo was initially a "Magazeno" (warehouse) an ancient structure where fish were stored for further processing. The fishermen's boats docked directly in front at the stone pier where they still dock today, hence, "the Landing Place" given to the restaurant by the owners; and today as yesterday the fishery is still active with the fishermen entering at the same landing place, but now to display their catch on the many tables on the dock where old and new customers arrive purposely to savor the freshness of the fish and the ultimate refined preparation of our dishes.
